Chris's 'Back to Black' portraiture is conducted in either the clients own home or in Chris's studio. Using minimal equipment Chris can produce these striking, timeless works of art. The images are about simplicity and character for this style of portraiture. 

This is your opportunity to not just own your own family portrait but your very own piece of personal artwork. The 'Back to Black' session is planned and photographed with complete simplicity in mind, so clothing is kept dark to maximise the impact of the image. This is the most emotional style of portraiture and as such is always presented in Fine Art Black and White, with gentle toning techniques.

"BACK TO BLACK" SESSION

Chris's "Back to Black" creation fee is only £35. This allows for a session of up to 1 Hour and includes the production of your preview images. There is no minimum order so you can order as many, or as few, as you wish of your favorite images. Whatever you do order, all the 'Back to Black' images are printed on the highest quality Fine Art Paper and framed in a high quality 2" black moulding frame with a thick conservation grade white mount. 

Once you have chosen your images there are various framing sizes available.  Please note that we do not sell loose prints or give away preview disks to view at home. A Press Printed Preview Album showing all images will be supplied and free with any of the large framed portraits. 

We ask that you and your family wear black or dark clothing for our 'Back to Black' portraits, true low key images work best when there are no distractions from the face. Please do not wear patterns or logos. The 'Back to Black' images are shot exclusively half length or head shots, this is to isolate the face as the focal point of the image. 

 FRAMING, ALBUMS AND BOXES

There are various finishing options available once you have chosen your images. If you require framing it is advisable to measure the area in your home that you have in mind to correctly cover the space.

Presentation Boxes. The Presentation box is a sensational way to display your precious portraits. The Portrait box has all the advantages of a traditional album, it is portable and can hold a lot of photographs making it a cost effective way to buy a large selection of photographs from your portrait session.
